Bring trimming tools if you have them, and spares will be available to use. Trimming tools of proven quality can be purchased at the workshop.
Bring your lunch, a chair, gloves and old towel or large rag. Morning tea will be provided.
Day Two Anatomy workshop will delve into the lower leg anatomy and ultimately the function of the horses hoof. We will be dissecting hooves that were trimmed the day before where we will look for tell tale signs and then investigate them. This puts the trimming technique into perspective and you will have a greater understanding of how it works.
